Good 18th century Dutch walnut upholstered salon or drawing room chair. The chair has just come back from being re-upholstered in what I think is a very tasteful material. THe chair has turned legs with carved decoration and there is various carved decoration elsewhere. The chair has nice shape arms also with carved decoration. The chair is in good condition and ready for a new home. There are a couple of minor old repaired cracks to the oval back near the top but these are perfectly solid.
The chair is a lovely mellow colour with good patination from years of waxing.
