Early Georgian oak 6 plank sword chest of a great size. Unusually it has astragal moulding decoration to the front in what is probably walnut. It also retains all of its original iron work including the lock which is most un-common. Really nice piece of early Georgian furniture in good condition. Lovely rich colour and patination with waxed finish. Would be great at the bottom of a bed.
