Superb 18th century George 3rd Chippendale style mahogany hall table. Square legs with chamfered inner edges with moulded block toes. Fairly deep mahogany freize with astragal moulding to the bottom. Thick top with cross banded edge and shaped moulding beneath. The top is a very nice piece of 18th century flame mahogany. Lovely shape fretted backets to the tops of the legs all round. Turns up beautifully with all the original pine blocks.
The table is in very good condition although it has been re-polished in Edwardian times I think.
Great size piece that would grace any decent hallway.
