Early 18th century, probably Dutch, brass chocolate pot with original iron and wooden handle. The turned walnut handle is especially nice. Most of these I have seen have had a lid but this example does not show any evidence of having a lid as there are no marks and the top edge is rolled over. The pot does have a few dints and marks but this is not surprising due to its considerable age.
