Good pair of late 19th century Scottish cast iron "Robbie Burns" mantel decoration or door stops with original painted decoration. They are both stamped on the back with a makers from Kirkcaldy in Fife but I can't quite make the name out. I think these were originally fireside mantel decorations as I think they are too light for doorstops. They are very nice with the original paint and are a proper pair, left and right facing.
