Scottish Wemyss Red Currents Pot or Barrel

Scottish Wemyss Ware low pot or barrel painted in red currants which is one of the more unusual fruit decorations on Wemyss. It probably originally had a lid although it must have been missing for some time as there are no signs of a lid. The pot is very nicely painted with great detail. One small hairline crack. Green painted mark to the base.
