Early Scottish Wemyss Heart Shape Inkwell

Good clean early Scottish Wemyss Ware heart shaped inkwell or inkstand in the dog roses design. Both the lids are original but are both slightly glaze nibbled round the edge. The glass internal ink pots are both missing. This piece has been nicely painted in great detail. Early impressed mark to the base. Good condition with no restoration.
